Are you a business owner or independent professional who needs more clients? You do not need a large marketing budget to generate sales for your product or service. But you have to take some measures in order to "position" himself in the market. Here are 7 steps that do not want to ignore:

1. Identify your ideal client and claim his place. Hone in on the type of person or company can get the best results. Get very clear on the market segment you want to go next. Sea specific, do not be afraid that you might eliminate 90% of the population, the more specific you are, the better your potential customers are recognized in your message and know it's the right choice to help them solve their problems.

2. Determine your pain. What are the things that your ideal customers worry that their product or service can help solve? People buy when necessary. The most urgent need, faster and easier it is to make the sale. Identify your pain, hit an emotional nerve, it helps to remember that they have to solve it and you're on track to close a sale.

3. Understand what your customers really want. What are the results as their ideal customers are looking for? What are the real reasons you want to buy? I'm not talking about features here, focus on results that will work with you and things that motivate them to buy (make money, save time, feel better, etc)

4. Be clear about what makes you different from your competition. Define your unique selling proposition or USP, which tells them what makes you different (and better). As Marty Neumeier says in his book "Zag" be "radically different". This gives potential customers a reason to say YES, helping them understand why they should buy you instead of your competition.

5. Create a compelling proposition values that explains who your customers are, what you struggle with and want to achieve, how can help and what results they will receive. Use this as part of their marketing message.

6. Develop a powerful message. Use this in all your marketing communications – Your website, business cards, sales letters, brochures, etc. sound bites sure your message matches your target market and customers and market coincides with the environment (the vehicle being used to reach your customer.) Thus, the message will reach people who need you most.

7. Place as an expert problem-solver. Write articles, do workshops and seminars, publish a newsletter, published in a blog, anything that takes you out there, front of your target audience and allows them to you is the person or company who will best help them solve their problems.

Once you have taken these 7 critical steps, marketing message will have a weight that will help attract customers to your business needs.
