Creative Writing Class Nyc
Let’s see, what would be some good weekend hobbies for someone like me w/my lifestyle??
Trying to fill up time and pursue some interests that would be a lotta fun
husband’s away on business a lot.
Decided to try to get active to LIVE MY LIFE TO THE FULLEST. Sick of being home alone on weekends 
Well, I work 2 jobs during the week,but so boring at home
I don’t have kids.
Most classes are during the week aren’t they??
Anyone else experiencing something similiar??
[I'm 1.5 hrs. away from Manhattan via train]
SO if anyone from NYC is FAMILIAR w/REALLY interesting seminars and exciting fun things to do for a married woman give me a list, thanks
{for example: ANY creative writing classes going on for a weekend trip in Manhattan??}
Or volunteer work in the ARTS?? Like helping painting a mural?

Well, I’m in California, so I can’t really say.
You could go to
http://www.myidealist.org and see if you can find anything there.
You might also go to community hubs where you live and look at bulletin boards and other notices.
If there’s a really local paper, scan it to see what activities or classes there might be.
I’m suggesting these things, so you could avoid the 3 hours (2-way) commute — besides, you’d be meeting people who live where you do.
There may be weekend classes for adults at the local high school.
Also, if there’s a Community College near you, some of their classes may be on weekends.
You could also (especially if you’re determined to travel to NYC) go to the New York Times web page and do searches. They have “What stuff is there to do” areas on their web site.
You could even sign up to be notified of things of interest.
